Topography

Based on the soil, physiography in the district are mainly silty loams (Khadar), loam (Bhangar and Nardak), piedment (Ghar and Khandi) silty clay (Naili and chhachra Dakar) and light loam (seoti).  The district has mainly udalfs, aquents- fluvents and ochrepts - orthente types of soils. It has varied topography comprising valley.   The district falls in shivalik hills and foot hill rolling plain in the north and north east.  Tropical dry deciduous forest and sub tropical are found here.

The temperature in the summer seasons is vary hot it reaches up to 43”c to 45” c in the days of summer and it become cools in the winter seasons and comes downs upto 3”c in the night.
